Hello Vacation!

Jennie and the kiddos went up to Eagle River for a little vacation while Lance was gone for a clinical rotation. We had sooooo much fun visiting Grammy and Papa, as well as Uncle Jason and his dog Muzzy and some of our cousins!

So Lance is gone on a 3 week rural rotation for school and he had to take the laptop....our desktop will not allow me to upload our camera pics so I wanted to post that we will be adding more stuff next weekend! BUT I just couldn't resist sharing that at Kaedyn's last soccer game he scored 3 goals! it was AMAZING! He had sooo much fun and was so proud! We were thrilled to watch him...we are going to be crazy screaming fans for the rest of his life..I can see it now! I even caught one of them on camera so I will try to put that on here next weekend! Can't wait for you all to see it!

Soccer Time!

Kaedyn has once again begun his summer soccer! It is so much fun to watch him, especially now that he's getting the hang of it! Before every game Lance gives him a pep talk to which Kaedyn responds "yeah, yeah, Dad, I know...be aggressive"!!

After many attempts at wearing flip flops to the beach we decided it was time to buy our first crocs for the kids! They work SOOOOO much better on the sand! No more crying that the sand is too hot or that the flip flops were too hard to get on by themselves! Thank you target for selling a much cheaper version!

So after many trips to the lake we decided it was time to buy our very own snorkle gear! I was starting to get embarressed by Kaedyn...he would follow all the kids around who had these and ask if he could borrow them! He even goes up to any adult sitting on the beach and asks to borrow anything sitting next to them! He certainly has no fear of public speaking!

It's HOT out here!!!

When it's 102 degrees...plus horrid humidity, there is nothing left to do but run through the sprinkler!!

Mmmmm good!

Ok, ok, I gave in today at the lake! We just HAD to buy a treat from the ice cream truck when it came by the lake! How can you not when it plays that music and parks right by the beach! Especially when it's 85 degrees and you've been outside all afternoon! Kaedyn has a Ninja Turtle and Violet a Doll! They thought it was so cool to hand the guy there money and receive a special treat!

Here is Mercedes with her popsicle..she was just as happy with a plain old orange double popsicle! It was so fun to watch them in their wonder!

We have spent sooo much time outside this week! From the park, the splash pad, to the pool, and the lake numerous times! Here are a few pics from our days outside...not too many yet cause I'm having too much fun to take out the camera...hopefully there will be many more pics to come!
